CHEMISTRY LAB

The chemistry laboratory is well equipped to meet the requirement of secondary and senior secondary level of education. The laboratory is well ventilated. The gas supply is also fitted with proper safety measure. Water supply and proper sink are installed. Modern techniques has been used to install the chemical stand. Moreover, lockers are available for the students in the laboratory so that they can put their necessary record and lab apron inside them. Laboratory has enough space to accommodate more than 15 students at a time to perform their practicals and teacher can cooperate the students individually. Other facilities are also mentioned below Chemistry laboratory equipment include water bath, Bunsen burner, Thermometer, pH meter. Laboratory consumable like boiling flask, plastic funnel, volumetric flask, chromatographic apparatus, petri dish are present. Laboratory accessories like tripod stand, laboratory stands, laboratory clamps and laboratory stoppers are available. Laboratory liquid handling equipment’s like burette, pipette, measuring cylinders, beakers, test tubes.  

Safety measures:-

Students are required to wear laboratory apron, hand gloves while performing experiment. Fire extinguishers are installed in the form of CO2 cylinders. First-aid box is present for sudden accident and injury.

BIOLOGY LAB

In Sri Ram International School Biology laboratory is well equipped to meet the requirement of secondary and senior secondary level students. Proper gas and water supply is available in biology laboratory with proper safety measures. Fire extinguisher and First aid box are available in biology laboratory.

PHYSICS LAB

The Laboratory reinforces the knowledge acquired in the theory class by emphasizing on the fundamental concepts of physics. It aids the students understanding of using lab equipments. Moreover, it makes them realize the importance of direct observation as compared to inference based on theory. It helps the students develop a broad array of basic skills, especially experimental and analytical skills, and a general understanding of the tools of experimental physics and data analysis.

Mathematics Lab

It provides an opportunity to students to understand and internalize the basic mathematical concepts through concrete situations. It helps build interest and confidence among the students in learning the subject. Our mathematics laboratory is well equipped to conduct practical’s for all classes. It provides opportunity to students to understand the applications of mathematics in their surrounding and real life situations. All activities of mathematics laboratory involve both the mind and the hands of students working together, which facilitates cognition. Through mathematics laboratory activities interest of students will increase.

Library

Library cum Resource Centre

A Library is an important source of knowledge to young minds in schools. It develops the important habit of reading among the students. A library is a curated collection of sources of information & similar resources. In our school library’s collection are books periodicals, newspapers, manuscripts,films,maps, prints, documents, microform, cds, cassette, videotapes DVDS & other formats. The school has a spacious & well equipped library constructed in the area of (54.5X20.5) sq. mtr. It caters to the needs & demands of students of all age groups. Total number of books available in the school library are – 17345. Total number of periodicals available in the school library are – 50. Total No. of reference books available in the school library are – 400. Total no. of NCERT books available in the school library are -250. Vi. Techno Labs   Vii. The Shri Ram Schools have a robust Inclusion Programme that aims to provide a mainstream classroom environment for children with diverse needs. This program is supported by a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Special Educators, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Behaviour Therapists. The school’s individualised curriculum is meticulously developed to address the specific and unique learning requirements of each child, unlocking and maximising their full potential. To cater to the heterogeneous group of learners, TSRS prepares the children in navigating Secondary (X) and Senior Secondary (XII) academic level from the National Institute of Open School (NIOS). The NIOS curriculum offers flexibility and allows children to pursue their studies at their own pace, catering to their individual learning styles. Furthermore, in 2021, the school launched a Pre-Vocational Training Program to empower children with various skills and Functional Literacy. Career Counseling Center   he Career Counselling Centre (CCC), established in 2015, uses a structured curriculum through Grades 9 to 12. It supports students with diverse needs including children from economically weaker sections and those with disability. The CCC uses a transformative process that enables individuals to gain self-awareness and insights into both themselves and the professional realm. It assists in making informed decisions regarding careers, education and life paths. Students are assigned counsellors who are happy to guide and solve queries whether it involves the course selection in school or the way forward leading to the transition into college.

The CCC supports the student body in the following manner:

• Helps students in discovering themselves and their unique interests through regular group sessions and one-on-one meetings.
• Helps design a unique educational pathway for an individual that enables them to choose the best-fit courses and colleges.
• Provides guidance on resume building, application form filling and understanding the nuances of writing effective College Essays and Personal Statements.
• The school is a college board test centre and administers the SAT, PSAT. It is also an Oxford Test Centre.
• The CCC organises regular university visits and college fairs that provide extensive and tailored information and answers queries that students may have.
• Uses the alumni database and invites alumni for conversations that support students in career – course – college selection journey.
• Provides regular admission updates to support students when they are applying to colleges in India.

Teacher Development Center   The need and importance for the Early Childhood Care and Education course (ECCE) was recognized by the National Policy of Education (1986 revised in 1992). It is realized that Early Childhood Care and Education is a strong base for pre-primary Education. It is also an important input in the strategies of human resource development, as a feeder and support program for the students.
